Marcia Fandrich Suelflow
August 20, 1937 - January 22, 2012
Savannah- Marcia Fandrich Suelflow, 74, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Spanish Oaks Hospice.
She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on August 20, 1937 to Robert and Erica Fandrich. After graduating from Washington High School, she received X-Ray Technician Training at Milwaukee Hospital. In 1959 she married Raymond Suelflow. In 1960 they moved from Madison, Wisconsin to Poughkeepsie, New York where they had their two children. In 1970 they began a series of corporate moves that encompassed five states and two foreign countries. Marcia and Ray retired to the Landings in 1996. She was very active in tennis, golf, Skidaway Island United Methodist Church, the International Club and PEO. In addition to traveling, her greatest love was her family, children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Jeff Ryan; their children, Taylor, Megan and Jake; son and daughter-in-law, David and Mary Suelflow; their children, Aislinn and Zachary; and her brother, Robert Fandrich and his wife, Chris.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Skidaway Island United Methodist Church with Reverend Jim Giddens officiating.
The family suggests that remembrances be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Savannah, 201 Television Circle, Savannah, GA 31406.
